At Digiqom, we do things differently. Our understanding is that our followers need something anew frequently to keep pace with this ever changing digital world. So, for the first time, we worked in tandem with Facebook India, in partnership with CRISIL Limited and Times Now, to cover and amplify the 2015 union budget’s social media reach.Since NDA government’s first year-long union budget was one of the most awaited budgets in India’s post-independent history, ‘Budget 2015’ kept social media throbbing with plenty of activities. Therefore, Digiqom initiated a multi-platform partnership with Facebook India along with CRISIL Limited and Times NOW for the content.

It was first of its kind instance of a social media platform promoting content from a corporate to cover and amplify the budget’s social media reach. In simple words, for the first time ever, Facebook India promoted CRISIL Limited’s posts, which were created in partnership with Digiqom.

As the budget speech was being read out by Mr. Arun Jaitley(Hon’ble Finance Minister) on the 28th of February, CRISIL Limited deciphered the budget, with Digiqom taking care of uploading the analysis on to Twitter and Facebook. The news channel Times NOW shared the budget analysis live. Digiqom was also responsible for the post-budget amplification of CRISIL Limited’s budget analysis.

For the budget coverage and amplification, three hashtags were used: #SocialBudget, #Budget2015 and #SuperBudget (Times NOW’s hashtag) that helped in extending the reach and allowed Digiqom to register more impressions. The gross impact on the Twitter community by #SocialBudget, #Budget2015 and @CrisilLimited exceeded an astounding figure of 589,000 impressions, whereas the #SuperBudget alone crossed 180.4 million tweets.
