Adding yet another feather to our cap, we partnered with CII once again to bring the live digital coverage of RE-Invest 2015, India’s first Renewable Energy Global Investors Meet & Expo, organised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India held from 15th to17th February, 2015.

A follow-up to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, RE-Invest 2015 was one of the year’s most anticipated events, and was India’s foray in to positioning itself as a preferred destination for renewable energy investments. Our role was to create a social media buzz prior to the event. And yes, we performed well.

Our competitive team achieved this by strategically meting out content on both Facebook and Twitter through hashtag #REInvest2015, covering latest developments in India and the world in the renewable energy sector. Engagements with prominent social media users in the RE space happened frequently, creating engaging conversations with influential personalities.

A live blog was created that kept track of all the social media updates around RE-Invest 2015. This live blog also served as platform for getting the latest updates on all the happenings in and around the event. Additionally, a YouTube channel was created as well that hosted videos by the MNRE and others on renewable energy.

During the three day event, we were able to develop engaging conversations right from the inauguration by Sh. Narendra Modi on the 15th of February to the valedictory session on 17th of February. Every session was covered live!

The online activity was able to reach a staggering 266 million impressions on the days of the event. The hashtag #REInvest2015 was trending in many countries including India, the US and the UK and saw online participation from over 50 countries.
